Frequently Asked Questions
The Design & Selection Process
What is the process for ordering?
You can browse our collection to find the perfect style, size, and color. Once you share your ideas, we will finalize the design choices with an online proof for your approval.
Can photos be used on headstones?
Yes. We offer various sizes and shapes of ceramic pictures, and we can also engrave photos directly into the stone.
Why choose Jessee Monuments?
We are a family-owned, local shop that prioritizes collaborative design and transparent pricing. Every stone is crafted here in Prineville with a focus on durability and artistic precision.
Cost & Payment
What will my memorial cost?
Costs depend on the size, shape, and color of the stone. We provide free estimates to help you find a tribute that fits your budget.
Are there additional fees for lettering?
No. Unlimited lettering is included in the price (per side).
What does payment look like?
We require a 50% deposit to begin the work, with the remainder due upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and Venmo.
The Design & Selection Process
What is the completion timeline?
Once the design is approved, please allow 12–16 weeks for completion. Custom stone orders may require additional time.
Do you handle installation?
Yes, we provide professional installation for the memorials we craft.
Do you install during the winter?
This depends on the severity of the season. If the ground is frozen or covered in deep snow, installation will be scheduled once conditions allow.
Cemetery & Material Details
Are regulations the same in all cemeteries?
No, every cemetery has its own rules. However, we can call on your behalf to find out exactly what the requirements are for your specific location.
What headstone lasts the longest?
Granite is the most durable choice due to its natural resistance to erosion, weather, and fading.
How long does the lettering last?
Our engraving is crafted to stand the test of time, remaining legible for generations.
